Jonathan Vella is a dedicated Maltese actor with a rich background in theatre and film. Jonathan has been involved in various productions over the last 5 years, showcasing his ability to handle a wide range of characters and genres. Throughout his career, He has worked with esteemed directors and fellow actors, learning and growing with each experience. Notable projects include 'The Elected' a short-film turned play written and directed by Patrick Vella, the award-winning short-film 'Son of God', written and directed by Bruce Micallef Eynaud in which he played the leading role of 'Seb', Jonathan was also a finalist on Take//Two's Rolling, an acting competition which aired on TVM which have allowed him to demonstrate his versatility and dedication. Beyond the stage and screen, Jonathan is committed to continuous learning and development, always seeking new opportunities to refine his skills and explore creative avenues.

His most notable workshop was conducted and led by Patrick Vella in Kerala, India in a two-week intensive workshop focusing on ritualistic and traditional acting methods originating from India. His latest role in a short-film called 'Mea Culpa' written and directed by Juwill productions debuted at Video Nasties '24. His work reflects a deep respect for the craft of acting, and a belief in the power of storytelling to inspire and move people
